Function & Benefits
The CP4 injection pump uses diesel fuel for internal lubrication, which is then sent upstream to the injectors.
If the pump fails, metal debris can spread throughout the entire fuel system—resulting in thousands of dollars in damage to injectors, lines, and the fuel tank.
A bypass kit separates the lubricating fuel from the high-pressure circuit, routing it through a dedicated filter and returning it safely to the fuel tank.
Meanwhile, the high-pressure side continues receiving fresh, clean, filtered fuel for optimal performance and protection.
